5th Sep 2008 - ICECAP adds to its Guizhou Province portfolio - 05/09/2008

The ICECAP Carbon Portfolio has added to its substantial portfolio of small hydro projects in Guizhou Province in cooperation with its partners the Guizhou Zhongshui Energy Company. Emissions Reduction Purchase Agreements have been signed for the Longwantan and Macaohe projects taking the total portfolio to 12 projects. Li Dong, ICECAP’s Chief Representative for China, commented from Beijing: “We are delighted to extend our successful cooperation with Guizhou Zhongshui Energy in particular as the skill and expertise of their CDM team has moved all of their projects to the stage where they are requesting registration or registered with the CDM Executive Board”.
